This Project refers to a Project Economic Evaluation and Commercial Support Services for the JV Partners on OML 34 and thereafter, presents a detailed feasibility report containing empirical facts and metrics for use in determining the economic viability of establishing a 10,000bpd refinery within the OML 34 oil block. The assignment was executed in two folds, comprising of:

a. Commercial Feasibility Study; and
b. Economic Analysis & Model Creation

The work was undertaken in this project, including investigating the viability of establishing a modular refinery with utilities and other services that support a daily crude oil stream capacity of 10,000bbls, then ascertaining the feasibility of producing fuels, according to international standards, under a very environmentally conscious manner and consideration for improving competitiveness and profitability of the crude oil, against its present arrangement of sale and transport through the Trans-Forcados pipeline system to the Forcados Oil Export Terminal and/or to Warri refinery.
