The engagement by the Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit), required Energy Culture to undertake a technical evaluation of Viathan’s power distribution network architecture, to establish the quality of its capacity, utilization, and efficiency. Energy Culture deployed a team to site to inspect Viathan’s existing independent power plants located at Lekki, Lagos Island, Illupeju and Abeokuta.

The objective of the site inspection visit was to enable the team to assess the existing generation and distribution equipment owned and operated by Viathan. The essence of the overall evaluation was for Energy Culture to provide recommendations to InfraCredit on the optimization opportunities of Viathan’s power generation and distribution equipment in Lagos and Abeokuta; as well as provide advice on the potential for network expansion and incorporation of clean energy into the existing generation mix.
