This pertains to the evaluation of the business dynamics of a 30 MMscfd Natural Gas Processing Project, which features the operations of a plant in Ebedei Ukwuan Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. The project was developed in 2010 by Platform Petroleum Limited and Newcross Petroleum Limited for the purpose of gathering, processing and distributing processed associated gas resources from the Egbaoma Marginal Oil Field. The plant receives wet gas as feedstock from the Marginal field located within OML 38 via three (3) gas streams (Extra High
Pressure – “XHP”, High Pressure – “HP” and Low Pressure – “LP” Lines); which is sent to the JV flow station and then to the Gas Gathering Facility (GGF), from where it is channeled to PNG’s processing facility. The resulting LPG produced has a butane to propane composition of 70% to 30% respectively.

PNG was seeking to refinance its natural gas processing business using a guarantee support from InfraCredit and based on this, the services of Energy Culture was employed to carry out a technical evaluation of the entire business operations of PNG, in order to ascertain and validate capacity, capability and reliability. The scope of Energy Culture’s work comprised reviewing the overall operational processes of PNG.
