This project refers to the establishment of a natural gas-fired, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) micro-turbine within the premises of Evans Medical PLC at Agbara Industrial Estate, Lagos. Energy Culture’s scope of work featured; project management and monitoring of the entire Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) carried out by Makon Power Systems & Capstone Turbine Corporation (USA).

The Company also provided two (2) engineers for training and certification, to carry out O&M (Operation and Maintenance) processes at the plant, over a period of 5 years from the date of commissioning and start-up. In addition, the project included the construction of a natural gas pipeline from an interconnection gateway operated by Shell Nigeria Gas, to a termination PRMS (Pressure Reduction & Monitoring Station), close to the premises of Evans Medical PLC and a complete industrial water system.

The project was developed and managed by Energy Culture, to commercially support a contract manufacturing transaction between Evans Medical PLC and GSK (Glaxo-Smithkline) Nigeria PLC, under a 5 year PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).
