This project refers to the field evaluation assignment undertaken by Energy Culture at two (2) gas flaring sites belonging to SPDC to support the aspirations of Eco Subsea Services Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle incorporated to affirm the viability of implementing a strategy that guarantees the safe and economical monetization of the natural gas being flared in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria for the betterment of the environment and social habitats around the flare sites. The work undertaken by Energy Culture is meant to aid decision-making with regard to the prospective funding required by the SPV, its shareholders, and partners to actualize the eventual concept developed by Energy Culture. The eventual implementation of the conceptual opportunity developed by Energy Culture will form the basis of ameliorating the poor economic state of the community dwellers around the flare site and as well develop a market for the converted flare gas after processing. The assignment was carried out in collaboration with PwC Nigeria as the commercial associate of Energy Culture and a detailed Feasibility Study, Business Plan, and Project Information Memorandum was developed as part of the deliverables agreed upon.
